Lake Oswego bathrooms run the full range — from First Addition cottages to Lake Grove family homes and contemporary builds above the lake. K&H Construction remodels every one of them the same way: waterproofing first, tile second, and one of our owners managing the job from the first visit through the warranty year. Licensed, bonded, and insured, Oregon CCB #233813 (verify).
Bathroom Remodeling Work We Do in Lake Oswego
- ✓ Primary (master) bathroom remodels — walk-in shower, soaking tub, or both, planned as one room instead of three projects
- ✓ Tub-to-shower conversions — the tub nobody uses becomes a custom tiled walk-in, usually in the same footprint (how conversions work)
- ✓ Full bathroom renovations — demo to done: waterproofed wet areas, tile, vanities, fixtures, lighting, and ventilation
- ✓ Hall baths and powder rooms — tight rooms where every inch has a job (small bathroom remodels)
- ✓ Basement bathrooms — below-grade plumbing planned right the first time
- ✓ Plumbing and electrical — permitted and inspected, never a shortcut

The tile gets the compliments; the membrane behind it earns them. Every wet area we build gets a waterproof membrane and a sloped pan, with sealed penetrations at every valve, niche, and bench, installed to the system manufacturer’s spec. If demo turns up rot behind old tile, our own dry-rot crew fixes the framing and the remodel keeps moving, with any added work itemized in writing before we touch it.

Lake Oswego Bathroom Remodeling FAQ
Do you handle City of Lake Oswego permits?
Yes. Bathroom remodels involving plumbing or electrical changes are permitted through the City of Lake Oswego, and we manage the applications and inspections as part of the project. You get the permit timeline with your estimate.
Have you remodeled bathrooms near Lake Oswego?
Yes — our nearest finished bathrooms are a master bath in West Slope, a basement bathroom in Maplewood in SW Portland, and a green-tile bathroom in Whitford on the Tigard line. Each project page has before-and-after photos.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A same-layout update usually runs 2–3 weeks of construction, a full gut 4–6 weeks, and a custom tiled tub-to-shower conversion one to two. Permit time comes before that. We give you the schedule before we start, and we tell you if it moves.
Can you turn our tub into a walk-in shower?
Usually in the existing footprint — a standard 30×60-inch tub space makes a generous shower. We build custom tiled conversions with real waterproofing and glass, not acrylic liner kits. See how our conversions work.
Who manages the project?
One of our owners manages every project and is your point of contact from the first visit through the warranty year.
